Game: Counter-Strike 1.6

Format 5v5 Set Teams

Prize Distribution: 1st place = 70% 2nd place = 30%

Maps: de_ maps only (Bomb/Defuse Maps)

If there are more teams from sign-ups which indicates we will have more than 8 Rounds, the map pool will cycle.

OverKlocked is fully equiped with top of the line SteelSeries Gaming Paraphernalia.

You may bring your own equipment, but to facilitate quicker setup inbetween matches, it is encouraged that you used OverKlocked's default setup.

You may NOT bring in outside PC's or Monitors.

 

Rules:

No Hacking of any Kind. This Includes Aim-Bot, Wall Hacks and any other kind of game modification that gives the players an unfair advantage.

No Flash Exploits. Any flash exploits used will result in an immediate disqualification of the team from that round. (Example of Flash Exploits = Flashing underneath the box on Inferno resulting in the enemy team being flashed in Banana Hallway)

No more than 3man Boosts. No boosts involving more than 3people.

No Tactical Shield. If a Tactical shield is accidentally bought it must be thrown in the far corner of the purchasing team's Base. Using a Tactical Shield will also result in the immediate forfeit of that match by the team using it. If a tactical shield is placed in an area where the enemy team will likely pass over it picking it up. (Example = Open doors in CT spawn of cbble) this will also result in a forfeit of the match.

No Silent Bomb Plants. Bombs must be planted where the ticking of the bomb can be heard. If you are confused about Silent plant spots in the game, take the time to test out the plant, make sure you can hear it, and that plant spot is fine.

No Map Exploits - Boosts that result in clipping are illegal. Clipping is when a player is either boosted through a solid layer, or when a player manipulates him/herself so that they can see over, under, and/or through any solid entity such as a wall or box. If a player is caught using map Exploits, the team will forfeit the match

 

Team Rosters:

Each team roster may consist of 5-6members.

Each member on the roster must pay the tournament entry and venue fee.

No ringers will be allowed to be used in any matches. If a team uses a ringer even for a fraction of 1 round, that team will forfeit the match.

Team Rosters are set at the beginging of the tournament and once the tournament has begun no changes to any rosters can be made. If a member of your team cannot stay for the entire tournament, we recommend you find another team-mate as once the tournament has begun rosters are locked and there are no refunds.

 

Disconnects:

If a player disconnects or crashes, contact an administrator, and the administrator will pause the round during the freeze time of the next round. The match will remain paused until the member can join the game.

 

Coaching/Ghosting:

Players outside of the Team are NOT allowed to coach an ongoing game. If a player is found to be coaching, he/she will be removed from the tournament and his/her team may also be forced to forfeit the tournament.

People outside of the game watching the game, are not allowed to give any information regarding the opposing team, whether it be positions/strategies/money count or any other source of information.

During a game if you die, you are not allowed to leave your system. For the reason you are not allowed to go near the enemy teams and get any additional information.

 

Game Setup

Team Captains will Flip a coin to determine who gets to pick which team they start on first.

Each Team will play 15rounds as Terrorist and 15rounds as counter-terrorist. First team to 16rounds wins.

In the Case of a Tie we will go into a 6round Overtime. Each team will start on the side they began on (IE if you played the first round as CT, you begin on CT) and play 3rounds and then switch sides. Each Team starts with $10,000. First team to 4rounds Wins. In the case of an Overtime tie, we will repeat overtime until there is a winner.

Before each game begins, teams will be given 5-10minutes of Prematch time, to warm up and make sure that their configurations are setup properly. Once the game has begun their will be NO pauses/restarts. So make sure everything is configured correctly before you begin.

HLTV will be setup to record each match.

 

Tournament Format:

The Tournament is Double Elimination.

Finals are Best of 3. The Team in the losers bracket for the Finals does NOT have to double eliminate the team in the Winners Bracket.

Games will be played on Dedicated Servers hosted on OverKlocked's LAN. For each Match you will be given a server name and a Server Password for your team. Once you are given the name and password for your match, the 10minute pregame will begin. Upon the end of the 10minute pregame the match will begin. If a team is not ready to begin they will forfeit.
